Job Description: The Law Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the organization. The candidate must have an L.L.M. degree or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission and two years of active practice as an Advocate. Alternatively, the candidate must have an LL.B. degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission and four years of active practice as an Advocate, including two years as an Advocate High Court.
Age and Gender: The age limit for male candidates is 28 to 35 years, with a relaxation of 5 years, making the maximum age limit 40 years. The age limit for female candidates is 28 to 35 years, with a relaxation of 8 years, making the maximum age limit 43 years. The age and gender of transgender candidates will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
Domicile: The position is on an All Punjab Basis.
Place of Posting: The Law Officer will be posted at the PPSC Head Office in Lahore and its regional offices.
Selection Criteria: The selection process will consist of a one-paper MCQ-type written test of 90 minutes duration. The test will comprise questions related to qualification (80%) and general knowledge, Pakistan studies, current affairs, geography, basic mathematics, English, Urdu, everyday science, and computer skills (20%).
Number of Positions: Four (4) positions are available, and the selection will be made purely on merit.
